Karachi in 1950s, I think this is Bandar Road.
Karachi 1947 Muslim League National Guardsmen w. their flags, chanting Free Kashmir as they ride on a truck through crowd at Bolton Market.
in Karachi as well a week before its branch in Simla closed. However, the CMG in Karachi was very short lived, the publication lasting a mere 4 years.The newspaper was finally ceased on August 31, 1963 after 94 years of its publication.
Karachi in 1969 and same situation is even today. How sad!

Luggage label of North Western Hotel Karachi which was established in 1908 and was located at Beaumont road.I have heard that the building was demolished a long time ago but not sure about it.

1976 - Young members of Pakistani Cricket team having Halla-Gulla at Nightclub, this function was arranged by Everest Cricket club. Such parties were popular in Bhutto's era. Mudassar Nazar, Waseem Raj, Javed Miandad and Sikandar Bakt can be seen.
Famous Hollywood stars Ava Gardner and Stewart Granger arrive at Lahore Airport, 1954. The actors arrived in Lahore with a full filming crew to shoot a major portion of the film ‘Bhowani Junction.’

Year 1977--A family gaze out from a window after the Long March organised by the Pakistan National Alliance, the main movement opposing the Prime Minister, which ended in failure after police dispersed demonstrators in Rawalpindi.
The Former Pakistan President Rafique Tarar Confers Nishan-I-Imtiaz, Pakistan’s Highest Civilian Award To Dilip Kumar for His Outstanding Performance In Performing Arts At The Presidential Palace In Islamabad On March 24, 1998.

Gama toured Europe in 1910 with a troupe of Punjabi wrestlers. He caused a sensation in England by defeating several of the world’s best grapplers: America’s “Doc” Benjamin Roller (pinned twice in less than ten minutes), Sweden’s Jesse Peterson (World Champion Greco-Roman style), France’s Maurice Deriaz and Switzerland’s Johann Lemm (the European Champion) all met with defeat.
The 300-pound Polish champion, Stanislaus Zbyszco, was only able to force a draw by hugging the mat for three hours in front of 12,000 spectators at the Shepherd’s Bush Stadium in London.
